Mahasudarshana-महासुदर्शन (P-K-) mostly pacifies Pitta & Kapha. It has balancing effects on all three Doshas, but may aggravate Vata, if taken in excess. It is Bitter, Pungent and Astringent in Taste. ‘Virya’ is Cooling & ‘Vipaka’ is Pungent.
Ingredients: Mahasudarshana-महासुदर्शन (P-K-) has large number of ingredients (Approximately 50!), and Chirayita (Swertia Chirayita is the major one–app. 50 %). Few ingredients other than Chirayata are (All taken in equal proportion):

How may we consume Mahasudarshana-महासुदर्शन (P-K-)–Dosage:
- 1-2 Tabs. (Mahasudarshana Tablets) Twice a Day, Depending on State of Doshas of the Body,
- If in Powder-Churna Form, 1/3rd (or Lesser) with a Glass of Warm-Hot Water 2-3 Times a Day, after Meals,
- Few Pinches-1/5th Tsp with Honey or Ghee as may be required,
- Please Note: Though Mahasudarshana Ghan Vati (the Tablet form) is formulated from Mahasudarshana Powder only, and is easy to take, Mahasudarshana Churna-Powder has much better efficacy than ‘The Ghan Vati-Tablet form’ any day!
Contra-Indications: May aggravate Vata (Such as Nausea), if taken in excess. Best avoided during Pregnancy or in limited-controlled quantities.
